Arif Jameel has dedicated three decades to researching "Pakistan's Heads of State," an ongoing project due to the changing political landscape. His completed articles on past rulers have been published in newspapers and on websites. Now, he presents "Part 1" of his e-book series titled "Pakistan's Heads of State," covering the life of the nation's founder, Muhammad Ali Jinnah, up to Zulfikar Ali Bhutto till the separation of East Pakistan, including the tragic event of the fall of Dhaka.

Arif Jameel embarked on this journey after obtaining MA degrees in Economics and Islamic Studies. He initially entered part-time teaching before transitioning to the sales and marketing department of a reputed private company. It was during the tumultuous period of Pakistan's 1988 general elections, marked by political conflicts between figures like Benazir Bhutto and Nawaz Sharif, that Jameel found himself increasingly intrigued by the historical underpinnings of Pakistan's political system.

Amidst the divisive rhetoric and historical revisionism propagated by various factions, Jameel, along with many other young individuals, felt compelled to delve into the root causes of Pakistan's tumultuous past. The prevailing atmosphere of animosity and the neglect of public welfare in favor of personal interests fueled their determination to uncover the truth.

Jameel devised a comprehensive research methodology, starting with the family backgrounds, educational pursuits, and professional careers of the leaders. He then examined their entry into public and political life, marriages, children, significant events, governmental roles post-independence, key decisions made as Governor General, President, or Prime Minister, reasons for departure from power, post-political life, and ultimately, the analysis of their governance decisions.

While this e-book marks the sixth installment in Jameel's series, it represents his inaugural effort in this extensive research endeavor. Alongside his primary research, Jameel has authored numerous articles on various topics related to Pakistan's history and politics, enriching the discourse surrounding the nation's past and present.
