This story is about a noble wiseman called Mayiankertuut. He forgave an ogre who ate his favoured ox and saved him from youths who wanted to kill him.This storybook was developed for the Nuer Literacy Initiative, a collaboration between Nuer speakers across the globe and the universities of Surrey and Edinburgh.
